Makhi Update-From my colleague Amy and Chris: Not a whole lot has changed…Cincinnati Hospital confirmed that he’s not growing due to his brain damage and there’s nothing that can be done to help him grow. So we are hoping and praying for a miracle that one day (hopefully soon) he starts growing on his own. He’s going to be 3yrs old in April and he’s only 14lbs still, so extreme failure to thrive. For the past two months his trach was really irritated and we couldn’t get answers and then we just found out last week that he actually has MRSA. Hoping that goes away soon so we can go back to Cincinnati and restart the trach removal process. On positive notes, he is getting very independent and crawling around the house playing with toys on his own. He’s really good at walking along couches and with his walker, working on taking steps on his own. He’s an absolute joy and everyday he keeps a smile on our faces!

My sister Trudy, a nurse, is on her way to the ER. She was tested for COVID and was supposed to receive the results today. She had a fever which broke. Also, she has asthma. Please pray for grace and mercy from our Lord Jesus in this time of need! Thank You! Saints!

I am asking for continued prayers. I am still hospitalized but improving each day. I was started on an antibiotic 2 days ago, which has helped tremendously. Still trying to wean off oxygen. Thank you, everyone.

Please continue to pray for my friend Nancy. Her breast cancer needs to be treated with chemo before surgery and the waiting for treatment to begin is very difficult. I’m praying that as she waits the Lord will intervene with His healing touch and make her well.
