"Helena" came to CompassCare to confirm her ninth pregnancy. She is raising eight children and recently became pregnant by a man she describes as a friend. However, the two have no plans to continue a meaningful relationship and he is urging her to get an abortion. Helena's pregnancy was too early to confirm and she admitted to feeling relieved to not see a heartbeat. She went on to say she believes children are a gift from God and senses her childbearing years won't last much longer. She feels conflicted knowing her child is unwanted by the father and knows that will have an impact on their life. She described her thoughts and feelings as a "roller coaster." When her nurse shared the gospel with her, she said she wanted to believe even she could be forgiven in spite of her many mistakes. She said she had known the message before but heard it differently that day. "I have a lot to consider," she said. Please pray for Helena to lean into the strength of the Heavenly Father this week and trust Him for her future, both in the immediate and the eternal. -------- "Gabby" came to CompassCare to confirm her pregnancy and discuss her options. From the beginning, she spoke openly about her faith. She said she has had several abortions and doesn't remember how many. "God wouldn't want me to kill another child," she said. Gabby's pregnancy was too early to confirm via ultrasound. She talked with her nurse about the tensions in her life. While those around her have told her they support whatever decision she makes, she feels she lacks meaningful support to parent her child. Reflecting on her own childhood, she feels she lacked emotional support from her single mother and laments not knowing her father. She feels caught between desiring an ideal life for her child and wondering if getting an abortion is best. Please pray for Gabby, who professes Christ and attends a church which supports CompassCare. Pray for her to make a connection with a MotherCare mentor and decide to protect the life of her child no matter what.

I really feel like I need prayers. Since this pandemic I have been really down and depressed. I really need my sisters and brothers to pray for me because I feel like I’m slipping away from my Christian family and I need to pray with other sisters.

Asking the Lord to heal Mary from pancreatic cancer, and her salvation if she's not already saved. Salvation for Tony, that the Lord reveal himself to Tony in such a strong way he can only run to Jesus not from Jesus. The Lord to remove every lie the enemy has him believing, that the Lord reveal HIS truth to Tony this very moment. Lord to send Godly wives for Jim, Randy and Matt. Healthy pregnancies for Liz and Haley. Lord to give me HIS peace, patience and knowledge. Thank you.
