"Evie" is in her early twenties and raising two children under two years of age. When she came to CompassCare, she said she plans to get an abortion. She has had one abortion in the past, which is a known risk factor for a second abortion. When she saw her six-week-old baby's beating heart, she said she felt confused. After discussing all of her options, she said, "I think I need to go home and decide if I can take care of three kids." She was receptive to hearing the gospel and told her nurse she had accepted Christ in the past. Evie said she would think about reconnecting with her faith. Please pray for Evie as she is under pressure and feels abortion is her only escape. Pray for the Holy Spirit to reignite her faith and help her to walk in the confidence God intends her to have. ------- "Mandy" is a single mother working full time who just found out she's pregnant. She doesn't feel confident about pregnancy and birth due to her age and past experiences and feels abortion could be her best choice. She gazed intently at her six-week-old baby on the ultrasound screen, watching his heartbeat. After she and her nurse went over medical information and discussed possible options for carrying to term, she thanked her nurse and said she would think further about her decision. Please pray for Mandy and the father of her baby to join together in preparing to welcome this child into their lives.

PRAISE REPORT: The meeting went well with the town officials this morning and we have their permission to start holding Sunday morning service outside in June, but with some limitations, at least for the first month. We'll have details in May, but for now praise God for His blessings, and thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for Antoinette P., who has been experiencing multiple GI problems for several weeks despite prescribed medications. Pray for wisdom for her doctor and the Lord's healing touch upon her. ------- UPDATES: Mike Grabowski and wife Susan are hopeful that he may be strong enough to return home by the end of this week (after several months in rehab), and request prayer for a smooth transition as they make all the necessary adjustments for him to live at home with his limited mobility. ------- Please pray for God's continued grace and provision and peace for John & Roseann Barstow. John continues to experience severe weakness and shortness of breath from C.O.P.D., but they are trusting in God's mercy and promises.

Update on Maureen's son Eric (bi-polar): Strong Hospital only kept him overnight. He is very convincing that he is all right. He is now out of the hospital and most likely living in his vehicle again. He does not have his medications. Please pray that he would realize he needs his meds, needs his parents' help and returns home. Please lift this family up in prayer for the many things going on right now. Thank you.
