UPDATE/Praise report on Maureen's son Eric: The police found him last night and took him to Strong hospital, where he was admitted! PTL! Please pray that he is assigned a compassionate doctor who will keep him as long as he needs to be there. Thank you all for your prayers.

I would appreciate prayers for a dear friend of mine, Janice S. We both went to Bethel and ministered together a few years back. Like so many, this past year has been very difficult for her, unable to leave her apartment, hasn't been to church in over a year due to multiple health issues. Now she is suffering painful headaches and doctors believe that brain tumors have returned. She is going in for a cat scan Tuesday, February 23rd. Please pray for a speedy and accurate diagnosis and treatment, for healing, and most of all for perseverance, God's peace and the joy of the Lord. In Jesus' precious name we pray. Amen.

"Barb" is a young mother raising three children, including an infant. She recently found out she is pregnant again. The father of the baby is unemployed and the two agree they cannot afford to raise another child right now. They plan to get an abortion. After seeing her five-week-old baby on the ultrasound screen, Barb became quiet. A heartbeat was not yet detectable and viability could not be confirmed. When asked what she was thinking, she said, "I'm feeling emotional...I'll be alright. This is just something I have to do." She and the father of the baby spoke privately in the exam room for quite a while. Barb then said she wanted to schedule a return appointment for next week to confirm viability before moving forward with the abortion. Please pray for Barb and the father of the baby to reconsider their decision and choose to protect the life of their child. -------- "Carla" is working full time while attending graduate school and just found out she is pregnant. "I have too much going on," she told her nurse. "I want to have kids someday, just not now." During her appointment, Carla did not display emotion. However, she told her nurse she has been crying a lot in private. She has not told anyone, including the father of the baby, about the pregnancy. She heard her baby's heartbeat and admitted there is a moral aspect to her decision. When asked about her spiritual beliefs, she said she was raised Catholic and believes in God but does not consider herself close to Him.
Please pray for Carla to draw near to God and for Him to draw near to her as she processes the realities of her situation. Please pray for God to give her supernatural confidence to continue her pregnancy. ------- UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT: Thank you for praying for "Camilla", who came to CompassCare hoping to reverse the effects of a chemical abortion. In desperation, she began the process of ending her child's life by taking the first abortion pill. Regretting her decision and remembering her connection to Christ, she searched the internet, hoping her baby could be saved. She called the Abortion Pill Reversal Hotline and was put in contact with CompassCare. An ultrasound revealed her ten-week-old baby was still alive and her nurse began progesterone therapy immediately. Camilla recommitted her life to Christ in the exam room that day. Since then, she returned for two more treatments, elated to see her baby had survived the abortion pill. Her baby is thriving and Camilla will continue prenatal care with her OB/GYN. Praise God for His miraculous intervention in Camilla's life, snatching her child out of the clutches of death and giving them both hope for the future!

Please continue prayers for Maureen A's son Eric. He has bi-polar, left home Tuesday and they do not know where he is. He is not taking his medications. Please pray that Maureen will find a hospital that will keep Eric long term. No one is willing to take him on long term and short term stays do not help at all. This has been going on for years and Maureen doesn't know where to go from here.

UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers for Morgan, who had been fighting this horrible mitochondrial disease and she lost her battle for this fight. She is in heaven with our Heavenly Father. Please pray for a cure for this disease. My beautiful granddaughter Lilly passed three years ago and now her sister is fighting this horrible disease.
