Mike Grabowski had an endoscopy followed by abdominal surgery yesterday in an attempt to find the cause of his pain, fever and infection. His wife said they did a tissue biopsy and are waiting on the results.

UPDATE from Kristen Littlefield: She reports her daughter Brittany (serving the Lord in Israel) continues to have severe vertigo, but they found out she is able to have an MRI. However, it seems it could be months before she would be able to get an appointment in Israel to do so, so they request prayer that she could have it sooner. Also, Brittany asks prayer to know the Lord's will if she is to remain in Israel even with this debilitating condition, and Kristen asks prayer for wisdom to know if she should go to Israel to help her daughter.

UPDATE: She reports Carm was taken to the hospital on Monday, after being ill for two weeks, and was admitted. He's receiving medication and oxygen, and is slowly improving. UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT: Thank you for praying for "Sharon", who came to CompassCare feeling abortion was her best option because she had never envisioned herself becoming a mom and she thought her job was incompatible with pregnancy. When she saw her eighteen-week-old baby on ultrasound, she expressed feelings of despair. She also alluded to God punishing her with this pregnancy. Sharon returned for her follow-up appointment with a new attitude. She said she was not willing to undergo a surgical abortion due to the health risks and had decided to move forward with her pregnancy. She spoke with her employer who was supportive of adapting her responsibilities as needed. The father of the baby is now excited about being a dad. "We think things happen for a reason. We're going to trust God," she told her nurse. Sharon plans to connect with a MotherCare mentor for continued support. Thank God for preserving the life of this child! Praise Him for His mercy and pray He leads them to salvation, His design for family, and a fruitful life together.
