"Regina" is raising a young child and feels she cannot make room in her life for a second child. "I just don't want to be pregnant right now," she told her nurse. After the ultrasound, all she said was, "OK." However, she did take the pictures of her ten-week-old baby and look at them intently. When her nurse talked with her about God, she did not demonstrate interest but agreed to read the gospel tract her nurse gave her. Please pray for Regina to bond with her child and choose to continue her pregnancy. Pray for the truth of the gospel to have life-saving effects both for the baby and for Regina.

UPDATE: Kevin's appointment with the liver specialist went well this morning, and they are planning to weekly drain the excess fluid from his abdomen and monitor his blood, hoping that his liver will start showing some signs of recovery and he will not need a transplant. Our hope, of course, is in Jehovah Rapha, and Kevin is deeply appreciative of all the prayers on his behalf!

Please pray for my granddaughter who is being admitted to the hospital for the second time after giving birth 5/5. She has had issues with mastitis and preeclampsia. “Dear Lord, we pray that you will hold this new mom close to you and touch and heal her of any infections. Protect her from the attacks of the enemy, and fill her with your love, peace, and joy, in Jesus name. Amen.”

UPDATES: "Belinda" is raising two children and lost her last baby at six months gestation as a result of a genetic defect. She thought an early abortion would be preferable to the anxiety of a pregnancy and possible tragic loss of a more developed child. When Belinda returned for a second appointment she was still conflicted and unsure of what to do. She has not returned or responded to follow-up calls. Please pray for God to work in Belinda's life. Pray she reaches out to her nurse (regardless of whether she is still pregnant) and is able to again hear about God's love and redemption available through Christ. --------"Maddie" had come to CompassCare considering abortion because she had broken trust with her female partner and became pregnant during an encounter with a man. She felt she had to abort to spare her partner the pain of knowing she'd been unfaithful. Maddie did not show for her second appointment and has not responded to any follow-up contact. Please pray for Maddie's heart and mind to be transformed by the wonder-working power of the cross. Pray for her to reach out to CompassCare for the grace and truth available in Christ. -------- "Jodie" has asked for prayer. She responded to a text from her nurse saying she is going to get an abortion, but said, "Please pray for me. This is a very difficult time for me." Jodie is a Christian and said in her first appointment she knows she would "be a murderer" if she got an abortion. She is living in secrecy and shame partially due to her mother's prominence in the pro-life movement in her home state. Please pray the Holy Spirit will convict Jodie of the truth and give her the grace to repent. Pray for the voice of the accuser to be silenced and for Jesus to lead Jodie back into the Christian community where she can find the support she needs.
