She reports that her son Mark (in auto crash about 2 months ago) finally has his appointment tomorrow to see a doctor at the concussion clinic. He's still having headaches and memory issues, also now having blurred vision and sensitivity to some types of artificial lighting, and has been unable to work. She asks prayer that he return to faith in the Lord and for healing. Than k you.

CompassCare

UPDATE: "Ruby" was feeling alone and unsupported when she first came to CompassCare. She is raising two children alone, which has become more difficult while dealing with debilitating nausea for several weeks. She felt she had to get an abortion to escape her difficult circumstances. She refused to have an ultrasound exam and became emotional, confessing she knows abortion is wrong. When praying with her nurse at the end of the appointment, she asked God for a miracle. "Show Yourself to me..." she prayed. "Rescue me," she pleaded. She opted in to connect with a MotherCare mentor. Since that first appointment, Ruby connected with her mentor and told her an amazing story. Two days before her abortion appointment, she had a dream. In the dream, her preborn baby cried out to her, "Mommy! Mommy! Don't do it! Don't go to your appointment!" "I can't get an abortion now," Ruby told her mentor. She is now determined to fight through the nausea she is still experiencing to honor the gift of life God has given. Praise God for revealing Himself in such a powerful, personal way to Ruby! Pray she grows in her relationship with Him and the Body of Christ as she prepares to welcome this child in a few months.

Please pray for Marilou B., an older Christian with no family in the area, who is scheduled to have a heart procedure on Monday to determine if surgery is necessary. Please pray for the Lord’s protection and provision for her needs, and a favorable outcome. Thank you. ------ UPDATE: Kevin's friend John, who was on a ventilator with Covid in another state, has recovered, PTL!, and is reunited with his young daughter in NY. Also, he has become receptive to Kevin's witnessing to him and said he is looking for a Christian church near him (currently living near Ithaca, where his recently deceased mother lived). Please pray for our Good Lord's continued mercy upon him to save his soul, guide his decisions and actions, and provide for him and his daughter (including a church family, steady employment, and decent housing). Our God is MIGHTY to save!!!

"Diana" is in her mid-twenties and raising three children without the support of their father. She lives with a family member but feels the addition of another child would be too much. Diana detailed her painful history to her nurse, saying the father of her children was unfaithful last year and her third child was born within days of a child he fathered with another woman. This coincided closely with the death of her mother. She also confessed her own history of incarceration, addiction and mental illness. "I can't handle another child," she told her nurse. Please pray for Diana, who says she gave her life to Christ when she was in prison. Pray for total transformation in her life, leading to a stable and hopeful future for her and all of her children. Pray her fourth child is spared from abortion. ------- UPDATES: Thank you for praying for "Meryl", who had been second-guessing her decision to carry her pregnancy to term and raise her child. She cited fears about a repeat c-section which CompassCare's supervising OB/GYN was able to address for her. She also opted in for MotherCare support, thinking having one more person on her side would help her commit to keeping her baby. When she returned for another appointment, Meryl said she's now confident she can raise her child. The father of the baby finally said, "Let's do this!" which was a relief to Meryl. She again said she does not believe in abortion and it would have been hard to go through with it. Meryl professed her faith and gratitude, saying, "I'm trusting God more now. I know He will work things out." Praise God for walking with Meryl through her fears. Pray He continues to supply her with strength and hope in the days to come and for her child to one day know how valuable he or she is in the eyes of God. ------- "Ruby" was feeling alone and unsupported when she first came to CompassCare. Please pray for brother Jose M., who is suffering from a deteriorating spinal condition. ------ Also pray for Fred & Dawn Wagner, who are dealing with their own health problems and various family issues (his aunt just passed away and her mother isn't doing well). ------- Victor N. would like prayer for his work situation. He's having some physical difficulty and his supervisor is not patient or understanding. ------- UPDATES: Antoinette P. reports feeling much stronger again, PTL!, and is very grateful for the help and support she received during her illness. ------- Please continue to pray for God's sustaining grace and strengthening joy for John Barstow and Mike Grabowski, along with continuing recovery and healing for Steve Hollis. All are very thankful for the prayers of the Saints on their behalf!

"Loretta" is raising two children and considering abortion for her third child. All she would say was, "I have a lot going on in my life." She did say the father of the baby is excited about the pregnancy and she has family support. After her ultrasound, her nurse asked what her thoughts and feelings were. "I feel happy," she said. She plans to talk more with the father of the baby. After praying with her nurse, she wiped tears from her eyes and thanked her. Please pray God reveals His deep, personal love for Loretta and she has the courage to welcome her child into her life. Pray His specific purposes for this child are accomplished. -------- "Ruby" has been battling debilitating nausea for a month now. As a single mom raising two children without support, she feels she needs to get an abortion. She has no confidence the father of the baby help her. Like many patients CompassCare has served recently, Ruby's resilience in sickness is low, and nausea has increasingly become a motivation for abortion. Ruby's nurse gave her an anti-nausea kit and prescription which can provide significant relief. The tensions in Ruby's heart and mind became more apparent when she refused to get an ultrasound and began crying during the gospel presentation. "Abortion is bad..." she said. "It's wrong." She consented to connecting with a MotherCare mentor for more support. Please pray Ruby gets relief from her nausea and has supernatural strength to parent her children while continuing her pregnancy. Pray for her nurse and MotherCare mentor as they point her to Christ.
