Please pray for healing and salvation for Matthew S., who is in a great deal of pain with shingles. Also, pray for Pam S., who has been diagnosed with a slipped disc and surgery is planned for later in August. And please continue to pray for God's comfort and grace for John Barstow, who is now resting in a nursing home environment primarily due to chronic lung disease. ------- UPDATES: Steve Hollis (on ventilator a month w/Covid) is recovering from wound care surgery and continues to make good progress with regular PT and OT, hoping to be able to feed himself soon. Wife Julie said it’s truly the grace of God and the prayers of the saints keeping him alive! She asked for prayer for favor with her employer to grant her time away while she continues to minister to Steve. ------ Linda W. said her latest diagnostic scan indicated that the cancer is there but contained by her continuing oral chemo. She is thankful for the prayers and Bible verses sent to her. ------- Mike G. asked for prayer for his continual lower back pain, but he is persevering in teaching a Wed. afternoon Bible study at the Rehab Center where he's living. ------- Jose Mir reports his condition has slowly been improving with PT on his neck, and he is praising the Lord for feeling much better, and thankful for the prayers on his behalf.

UPDATE: Dear Saints, unfortunately we were unable to visit my Uncle Chuck in the hospital. He is in the ICU. Family is preparing hospice care for him. "Linda" has one child and is currently working full-time and attending school. Given her full life, she feels now is not the best time to have another baby. She believes the best option is abortion, even though the father of the baby and her family are excited about her pregnancy. During the ultrasound, Linda was able to see her eight-week-old baby on the screen. When asked about how she was feeling, Linda said, "It's so small," and admitted feeling bad about considering abortion after hearing her baby's heartbeat. She expressed belief in God and told her nurse she has prayed to Him about her pregnancy decision. Linda agreed to take more time to think through everything and scheduled a follow-up appointment for next week. Please pray Linda will continue to connect with the little life growing inside her. Pray she will see that, despite the inconvenient timing, she can still have this baby.

Today (Monday, 26 Jul 2021) I found out that my Uncle Chuck, my mother’s brother, is in the hospital. He was told that he may not leave the hospital until he has hospice care in place at home. I have witnessed to him before, but he is not saved. Tomorrow, my dad, mom, and I will be going to visit him. Please pray that the Lord Jesus will soften his heart to receive the gospel. Thank you for the prayers, Saints!

Although Kevin's underlying liver condition remains life-threatening, he has recovered from the infections that put him in the hospital 3 weeks ago, and his kidneys are again functioning sufficiently, praise the Lord! He has lost considerable weight and muscle, and is very weak, but the goal now is for him to be able to return home with me for a while. Please continue to pray for his healing, and for God's will, purposes, and glory in both our lives through it all. Thank you so much, Saints!
