Please pray for our son-in-law Robert, who is having chest pain around his heart due to a condition called Sarcoidosis. Pray for wisdom for the doctor and healing from the Lord. UPDATE: Brother Nate seems to be responding favorably to medication, PTL! Please keep praying for healing for him, our niece (also still in hospital), and other family members with Covid. Thank you.

UPDATES: Mike Grabowski had a second emergency surgery to amputate his leg to prevent the further spread of infection from reaching his organs and killing him. Wife Susan is praising the LORD for sparing Mike's life. ------- Steve Hollis has been moved to the Jewish home to continue recovery and rehab, which has been slow, but they know the Lord is faithful. ------- Maureen Angelo is asking for prayer again for her son Eric, who seems more discouraged and depressed lately.

UPDATE: Jesus welcomed my son Kevin Home late yesterday afternoon. He is no longer suffering, which is a great relief for me. I got to share the Gospel with a friend of his over the phone last night. Please pray for Chris's salvation and God's comfort and guidance for Chris. Thank you SO MUCH, Saints, for all your prayers and love and support through this difficult time! The Lord has been glorified in His Church through you all. (There will not be a service for Kevin. He wouldn't have wanted it.)

"Sheri" is a college student who came to CompassCare wanting an abortion because having a baby right now is not part of her plan. She would like to finish school and get settled before having a child. Her boyfriend already has children and does not want any more. Sheri is also afraid her parents will "freak out" when she tells them she is pregnant. Sheri's ultrasound revealed a 6-week-old baby and she remarked "He's so tiny." Her nurse talked to her about how important this decision is and encouraged Sheri to take time to think. She did not make a return appointment, but said she would call later to set one up. Pray Sheri will have the courage to tell her parents and they will support her in continuing her pregnancy. Pray she will call and schedule another appointment. Pray God's divine protection over her preborn child. ------- "Jocelyn" is a single mom doing her best to raise four children. She recently found out she is 10-weeks pregnant. Jocelyn is afraid of disappointing her family so she has not told anyone yet. Plus the shame of having multiple children with different fathers weighs heavily on her. Jocelyn openly shared with her nurse her past experience with abortion. She admitted that deep down she knows abortion is wrong and God would not want her to do it. She has a relationship with the Lord and has prayed to Him about her situation. Please pray Jocelyn will continue to turn to God for wisdom and trust her future to Him. Pray she will have the courage to continue her pregnancy, despite what others might think of her.

We found out our niece Chery has COVID and she lives in the same house with my brother, who already is in the hospital and not doing well. For Chery to contract COVID is very dangerous as her lungs are scarred from a previous infection of pneumonia. She also has a trach. Please pray for Chery and Nate for healing from the Lord. From CompassCare: "Jade" is a single mom who came to CompassCare thinking she was getting an abortion. Her nurse gently reminded her of the services CompassCare provides and she decided to stay. Jade has not told anyone about her pregnancy, not even the father of the baby. It is an abusive relationship and Jade recently left him. During her appointment, Jade was in physical discomfort and seemed withdrawn. She was wearing a baseball cap wouldn't really make eye contact with her nurse. After the ultrasound, Jade became tearful and simply said, "It's too hard." She did not want to talk further about her feelings but did agree to take some time to think about her situation. She agreed to return for another appointment. Jade listened when her nurse shared the gospel but was not open to giving her life to Christ. Pray the Lord makes Himself known to Jade as she recovers from the abusive relationship she was in. Pray she will see the value of her preborn baby's life, despite her troubled past, and choose to protect his life.
