We found out our niece Chery has COVID and she lives in the same house with my brother, who already is in the hospital and not doing well. For Chery to contract COVID is very dangerous as her lungs are scarred from a previous infection of pneumonia. She also has a trach. Please pray for Chery and Nate for healing from the Lord. Thank you.

CompassCare
From CompassCare: "Jade" is a single mom who came to CompassCare thinking she was getting an abortion. Her nurse gently reminded her of the services CompassCare provides and she decided to stay. Jade has not told anyone about her pregnancy, not even the father of the baby. It is an abusive relationship and Jade recently left him. During her appointment, Jade was in physical discomfort and seemed withdrawn. She was wearing a baseball cap wouldn't really make eye contact with her nurse. After the ultrasound, Jade became tearful and simply said, "It's too hard." She did not want to talk further about her feelings but did agree to take some time to think about her situation. She agreed to return for another appointment. Jade listened when her nurse shared the gospel but was not open to giving her life to Christ. Pray the Lord makes Himself known to Jade as she recovers from the abusive relationship she was in. Pray she will see the value of her preborn baby's life, despite her troubled past, and choose to protect his life.

UPDATE from Lynn: Kevin is now in Palliative Care at Strong Hospital, where there are fewer restrictions on visitation. They are trying to schedule a procedure to help keep him more comfortable (possibly tomorrow). The Hospice Home they had contacted is in Perry, NY - too far away for the family & friends he's wanting to see be able to visit - so we turned it down. He's accepted his situation and is receiving wonderful care. He likes & jokes around with his MD & nurses. His best friend (from high school) is visiting from Washington state, and that has been a huge blessing to both of us. Please continue to pray for God's grace, comfort, and peace for him as he prepares to go Home with Jesus. Thank you.

UPDATE: Kevin has decided he's done with being in the hospital and they are looking to move him to a Hospice House, since there's no way I could safely accommodate or care for him at home. We are waiting for more details as to when & where he will be going, but we are anticipating fewer visitation restrictions than at the hospital. Please pray for God's grace and peace for us both! Thank you SO MUCH!
