He is going to have laminectomy spinal surgery tomorrow morning to relieve extreme pain in his arms, legs, hands, and feet. Thank you for your prayers!
Psalm 28:7 - The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. We heard recently from Andrea. She is still in the hospital, but is in less pain and is sleeping better. Her faith is definitely staying strong through this trial!She is now able to have visitors and is in a private room. She is at Rochester General Hospital. Please continue to keep her in prayer. Thank you! Prayers appreciated for Michael L, (wife Kristen) who had surgery Friday 11/7 to remove 24" of his intestine.
This surgery was done in the hopes of eliminating the diverticulitis challenges he has faced for many years.
Update: Praise God! The surgery Friday to remove the compromised intestine went very well. Doctors were very encouraged. Michael was up and walking this morning. Amen. There is minimal pain. He is hopeful to leave in the next couple days.
He is very grateful for your prayers and trust the Lord. Amen
Please pray for my sister, Barbara, and her husband, Jerry. A large tree limb fell on their house and broke through the roof in 2 places. She asked for prayers that their insurance coverage is good, and that they will be able to return to their home in Texas before winter. Hi Saints! One of my colleagues, Judith, is going through challenging times. She is taking care of both her aging / ailing mother (who has dementia) and her husband, who just fell last night. (He is going downhill too.) Please pray for additional help, rest, strength and endurance for Judith, healing for her mother and husband, and peace over their home. Judith and her husband are believers. I'm not sure about her mother. Judith appreciates all our prayers! The Lord hears! Amen. God bless all! Please keep Antoinette in prayer. She has lost her voice and is still having issues with her foot. Thank you! Andrea is still hurting and is scheduled to have another CT scan today. She is grateful for any and all prayers! Update regarding one of our homeschooling families:
"Lauren and I thank you all dearly for your supplications to our Creator and sustainer of life. In his divine understanding, Miriam Louise (8) has gone to dance, sing, and worship our savior in eternity.
On Saturday, 10/25, we believed Miriam had the stomach bug. By Sunday, she seemed dehydrated, and Lauren took her to the Newark ER. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She went into Diabetic ketoacidosis and then quickly had cerebral edema. Last night, they confirmed with a CT scan that this situation had been fatal. While her brain has died, she is still on life support.
Pray for wisdom over the next days and weeks. I am thankful that God blessed us to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Miriam's greatest sickness was healed by the blood of Christ." Praise Report! Anna is back in her apartment. The apartment complex managers shampooed the carpets, fixed many of the ceiling light fixtures and walls that were affected. They still have some fixes to take care of in parts of her place, but she is able to live in her apartment without headaches or breathing issues. Thank you, Jesus! One of our homeschooling families is requesting prayer regarding their 8 year old diabetic daughter. The father said, "I'm requesting prayers to my Heavenly Father for Miriam Louise, who is unlikely to live past today save a miracle. Regardless of what God deems necessary for His glory, He is on the throne and Lauren and I are content with His answer."Sarah R.
