All are welcome to attend our monthly Fellowship Dinner on Sunday, January 5 following the 10:30 service. Eating a delicious spaghetti meal together is a great way to connect with the church body and make friends.
Jesus himself often met with his disciples for dinner, and used the opportunity to give some of his most important teachings. After his resurrection, the early Christians began the tradition of sharing an Agape Meal together, often held at the same time as the Lord’s Supper.
Koinonia continues this tradition of what Jude called a “love feast” by sharing a communal meal on the first Sunday of the month as a way of encouraging community, harmony, and goodwill.
Sign up on the church app or let someone in the office know you are coming by Wednesday, January 1. We are asking for a donation of $5/person, or $20 for a family to cover the cost of the meal.
Hope to see you there!
