On Thursday, April 24, over 65 women gathered for a special evening of fellowship, worship, and testimony at our Women’s Agape Dinner. Surrounded by laughter, heartfelt conversation, and the aroma of a delicious Italian meal and sweet slices of cake, the evening created a warm and welcoming space for God to move.

The Power & Depth of God’s Love

After a time of worship, we were blessed to hear from Abi Cook, a beloved worship leader and youth leader in our church family. With honesty and courage, Abi shared her personal testimony—a story of struggle, surrender, and redemption. She spoke vulnerably about her past battles with pornography and erotica, and how, in her brokenness, she encountered the healing love of Christ.

Drawing from 1 John chapter 3, Abi reminded us that God’s love is not only transformational but also humbling and longsuffering. His love doesn’t leave us where we are, it restores, renews, and redefines. Through her journey, Abi discovered what it truly means to be loved by God, and how that love reshaped her identity and understanding of intimacy.

It was a powerful night; a reminder that no story is beyond God’s reach, and no heart too far gone for His love to redeem. We are so thankful for Abi’s willingness to share so openly, and for every woman who came with open hearts. May we continue to walk in the light of God’s love, supporting one another in grace and truth.
