Update regarding one of our homeschooling families:
"Lauren and I thank you all dearly for your supplications to our Creator and sustainer of life. In his divine understanding, Miriam Louise (8) has gone to dance, sing, and worship our savior in eternity.
On Saturday, 10/25, we believed Miriam had the stomach bug. By Sunday, she seemed dehydrated, and Lauren took her to the Newark ER. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She went into Diabetic ketoacidosis and then quickly had cerebral edema. Last night, they confirmed with a CT scan that this situation had been fatal. While her brain has died, she is still on life support.
Pray for wisdom over the next days and weeks. I am thankful that God blessed us to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Miriam's greatest sickness was healed by the blood of Christ."Penny M.
